Today I was watching Best Food Ever, a new TLC program narrated by none other than John Goodman, and they were profiling the best bakeries across America (amazing right?). Number 3 on their list was Tartine - a San Francisco bakery and cafe that serves up such wonderous items as a hot pressed Humboldt Fog Goat Cheese sandwich on walnut bread, as well as house baked croissants and a renowned Tres Leches Cake. Considering that the Bay area will be my home for the next 3 months, I plan on getting to know our little Tartine and all she has to offer exceedingly well.
